I think next week I’m going to change my title, because I’m really not trying to promote a diet as much as I am promoting healthy eating which leads to weight loss. I had a great week this week and then a set back. I’ve exercised at least 1 hour every day, made good choices, cooked more at home, and then yesterday I re-injured my ankle on a hike and I can’t walk on it very well. This week, I have strict orders to stay off the ankle which means no hiking for at least 1 week. It will be a challenge to get in my hour daily exercise but I think it is doable. I plan on using a stability ball and concentrating on light yoga and working the upper body. When I went to a stroke prevention class a few years ago, the trainers said the stability ball is really the only piece of equipment you need to get in shape. That and cardio exercise. And a healthy diet of course.
