If you’re like me you’ve been around the net a while. Hey, I even know a bit of DOS. The new stuff though, it takes me a while to wade through it all. Everywhere you go you see that little orange button on web pages. You can see our on the top right of our blog.
In the beginning of my blogging days I was confused, when I tried to subscribe by pressing that button, I would get what looked like coded garbage up on my screen.
Did that ever happen to you?
Then, Heavens Thank You, I got turned on to feed readers. There are a lot of them out there, and you can download readers or use online ones like Bloglines, but my favorite is Google feedreader. (reader.google.com). You’ll need a Google account, but it is easy and free to sign up.
When you hit that orange button at your favorite blog, (which you will do here of course), it will add the subscription automatically to your reader, Google, or Netscape or your favorite reader. Then you can read the posts without having to go to the blog - a real time saver.
The best thing about the RSS feedreader/subscription?
You’ll never be giving out your email address unless you want to.
Here on Live Holistically!, you can also subscribe via email, or just come every day and check out what’s new.
So, please, go ahead and subscribe. See that little orange button? Push it.
Oh, and please, add to the conversation while your here and leave a comment.

After I posted this I found another’ what the heck is that orange button post. Linda over at Ulgy Mailbox explains it even better. Still confused? Go visit her site.
