Live Holistically is a multi-author site.

My Blog Guru reminded me that its ‘Blog Action Day’ and if I want to submit something it had to go in today. Well, of course I did not remember, so, my answer is to put a sampling of different posts I’ve written over the past two month.
I’m having a wonderful time researching, writing and meeting people from around the globe. Learning is wonderful. Knowing what to do with all the knowledge is something else. Am I running in a circle…or am I able to make a difference? Only time will tell. Here are some samplings from my posts. Hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them!
Our Bodies: Our Only Free Ride
I believe probably about 70 percent of human beings disregard and disrespect themselves; the natural world and its inhabitants are guilty of short-term thinking and bad planning. Why else would we keep ‘biting off our nose to spite our face’? How else did we get in this predicament; a planet full of diseased and dying inhabitants? How can we change this predicament?
There Is Goodness Inherent in the Earth!
I believe there is goodness inherent in the earth and that humanities footprints are meant to reflect this goodness. As I link to thousands who are of this same belief, my passion on this point soars. I feel my heart surge; I’m excited, fearful and almost running scared. Dare I demand sustainability for all earth’s inhabitants? Dare I coheres with other? How dare I delete emails from Moving On! Politics! Who likes them? However, the powers that be are of a political nature and control our destiny. I believe the current political front must be changed.
We Need Audacious Leaders!
We need audacious leaders to carry out our demands! Our evolution is at stake. We are playing with Big Boys and they do not wish us to see the details of their frolic. We need not look far to see how our planet and people have been and are severely oppressed. These are very big Boys and they are not playing; they keep a keen eye on the bottom line. They would have you believe the poisoning of the environment and the people are a natural occurrence or an accident!
Sharing Is A Good Thing: Acknowledging Each Other Is Better!
Sharing our knowledge freely is a good thing. Linking together and acknowledging each other, is a great thing! As we link and speak of our passion, we discover we are not alone in our thoughts for a sustainable world. We are strong in numbers and will live in harmony with nature and people. No species will die out. There will be no genocide here. Our food, air and water will be made pure. We are a free and equal people, bound by this belief!
Affection: The Highest Gift We Can Give
Affection is the highest gift we can give one another. It is imperative that we make time to nourish ourselves and those around us.; especially those we have chosen to take responsibility for. It takes a lot of time and determination to discover our innate ‘godly’ strength, wisdom and intelligence. Without knowing who we are, we cannot fully understand the ‘gifts’ we were given and the responsibility we have to this planet and its inhabitants.
Salvation Walks on Four Legs and Wags Its Tail!
I believe Living Holistically is treating humans, animals and the environment as a single system. Is this a mind-boggling concept or a simple truth? Sometimes the answer is in places that keep disappearing. However, salvation walks on four legs and wags its tail! If you understand part or all of what I just said, read on.
Living Holistically: The Four-Legged Dog
Nowhere is Living Holistically more evident than in the four-legged animal we call ‘dog’. Scientists say we have walked with and depended on the ‘dog’ somewhere near 130,000 years (one millennium is a 1000 years).
Webster’s Perspectiive
Hum, I do understand Webster’s perspective. However, my thought is about what else lurks in the wild. A read about a cat named Oscar in Providence, R.I. nursing home that has a sixth sense: Oscar can predict when a resident is about to pass away. Pets have extraordinary healing power. Our canines have the ability to know when someone is sick or dying, they sense our emotions. These areas of the ‘wild’ are more difficult to measure and define. We have only scratched the surface of the secrets animals and nature hold.
