There are now nearly 57 million blogs on the web with 100,000 new ones appearing every day.
These are impressive statistics, a recent poll finding that most U.S. bloggers do what they do to express themselves, with only 7 per cent saying that there main reason for blogging was to make money.
Let’s break those statistics down, this means that 3,990,000 are wanting to make money and 53,010,000 are doing it for a different reason. All of those bloggers though, whether they realise it or not, are using the internet as a surrogate community from which they can draw energy.
For the same reason that people congregate in huge groups to party, watch football, worship pop stars or interact with each other in a chosen activity, the buzz that they feel is the collective energy of the group, and those that are lacking their own energy can tap into this and go home on a high. This may last for the whole week, but eventually leaves them coming back for more because they become addicted to the good feelings.
The human race has been going through this same ritual since time immemorial, but no community has ever had access to each other in the same way that we do today, with the technology for these huge gatherings, literally at our finger tips.
What’s the Harm?
You may think that this is harmless to society, and in many ways it is, because I could never reach so many people with my observations without the power of the internet, and neither could any of the other famous teachers that we are now able to take advantage of through this medium, but I want you, my reader to understand energy, what it is, and how to use it.
Nothing exists in this world that isn’t energy, nothing!
All that money is is energy, all the support that you feel from your blogging community is energy, all the highs that you feel are because you are filled with energy, all the lows that you feel are because you are lacking in energy. This means that us bloggers are all doing the same thing, whether we understand the process or not, we want a bit of this huge energy cloud that doesn’t have borders, and that we can all tap into and we can all enjoy. And as long as you have the technology, it’s Free!
There is a slight complication however, without the energy of money in the first place you cannot have access to the internet, and therefore are denied access to the energy source. In these times of scattered families, you may also be denied energy from close relatives, and for teenagers the temptation to become a gang member is becoming more prevalent, it’s one way to get some energy. The consequences may be tragic, but it is all that they know.
There are free internet access points like libraries which underprivileged communities can use, but in the main the equation is, no money no internet.
There are some lovely blogs in the blogosphere, all of which endow their readers with positive energy, there are also blogs that may look attractive, but have very low vibrations and therefore a low energy rating. All the blogs that take pleasure in making nasty remarks about celebrities, and may look to be earning mega bucks from doing it, will in the end fail. Their energy bank accounts are nearly overdrawn, and it is better to stay away. Blogs like this one that you are reading now will energize you and fill you with inspiration to achieve through all areas of your life, but we know that it’s easier to be content with a cushion of money in the bank, and I know because I’ve done it both ways!
So what is the answer?
Learn how to manage your energy bank account, keep it topped up from the free source that can never be denied you, and you will automatically be drawn to the blogs that teach useful strategies or provide pleasure in other ways, and then you will be adding to the collective energy bank of the world.Imagine just how powerful the human race would become without the need to steal energy from other people. Wars and political infighting would be unnecessary and a different monetary system may come into being, it is possible if we but change one person at a time. If we look at the hill rather than the mountain, if we look at ourselves rather than others, great things will be achieved.
