Today America remembers the twin towers of the World Trade Centre imploding.
Today is a sad day when the fate of those thousands of working people was to die together in a burning building, when for some the only option that they believed that they had, was to jump.
I remember watching those scenes 6 years ago, at first in disbelief and then in horror, and that was before anyone realised the health implications of the billowing dust and the Post traumatic Stress Disorders that would blight the lives of victims and rescuers alike.
Heroes and Angels
Those fire fighters that lived became heroes those that died became angels. The world was united with America in her plight, there wasn’t a country that didn’t offer support, from the playing of the The Star Spangled Banner at the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, when thousands of Londoners waved American flags, to a resolution passed by NATO calling on the attack to be treated as an attack on them all. The western world stood together, they had found a common enemy.
With a common enemy comes a sense of security, and the American people would have found great comfort in the empathy of the world. Whatever happened, and there are numerous theories citing many conspiracy plans, by 2003 the American people were alone and hated, if not openly hated then their government was feared.
Fear is Born
Fear is born of secrecy, and yet the US Government has repeatedly refused to allay the fears of the people with transparency. If a government refuses to even make believe that its people have a say in any government agenda, fear ensues, and with fear comes delusion.
Delusion of attack from terrorist sources is driving the lost liberties and false promises behind America’s Homeland security, fear is what is allowing drastic changes to take place to the constitution, putting civil rights in jeopardy, and fear is causing the American people to become defensive, allowing atrocities to happen in their name. It would be the same for us all were we in the same situation.
There are literally thousands of web sites accusing George Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney and Condoleezza Rice of heinous crimes, of knowing that thousands were to die that day, of being part of the bigger plan to attack Iraq. They may be right, and many may have embroidered the truth to fit their own beliefs, but 6 years after the tragedy of all those lost lives, rancour and dissemination won’t allow those who lost loved ones closure for their grief.
The Blaming Goes On
It is time to stop recriminations. We can only wonder at the guilt that these leaders must feel, and if they aren’t feeling it, it isn’t because it isn’t there. They are not allowing themselves to feel. This can only end is sickness of their body and soul, already Dick Cheney has heart dis-ease. As the heart hardens then so do the arteries that carry the blood around the body. Blood is joy, he is depriving himself of the joy of living, his death will be uncomfortable.
Remembering and Healing
On this day of sadness, I propose that each one of us selects someone in government, and with full intent sends them the light of love. Cover them with pink heart light, give unreservedly of yourself. It doesn’t matter if you feel that not one of them deserves to be forgiven, it is your choice and intent to send love. It is not emotional love, it is the love of the Universe, that which all people and animals deserve, because we are all one in spirit.
Make this a day of action. Will you join me in sending love to George W. Bush, Dick Cheney or Condoleezza Rice? I’m asking for your support, let me know if you will join me.
We are all one.

That is a real test of consciousness. Sending love to those you disagree with. I don’t know if I’m capable… I’m willing to try today in meditation.
Bless You Michelle,
I promise you that you will see results. Love is the only power that heals, and there is a great deal of healing to be done.
