7 Ways to Create Your Emotional Freedom

Once we choose to use the 7 tools listed below then we have the opportunity to move beyond the past. We can choose to be FREE.

 

1. Drama Triangle Analysis

3. Meridian Tapping

 

4. Energy Healing

 

5. Visualization

 

6. Dowsing

 

7. Mirror Work

 

 

Let’s look at each of these tools in turn.

drama-triangle.jpgKarpman’s Drama Triangle Analysis:

The 3 positions: Helper : Persecutor : Victim, quickly give us an overview of the choice of life position. If, for instance, a person is a constant Victim of violence or abuse of any kind, the thought patterns that cause this need to be changed.

A spin-off from Eric Berne’s Transactional Analysis, a well used tool in the field of psychology, it is also the model for most of life itself. Until we are emotionally free we will continue to move around the triangle, taking different positions during each transaction with other people.

Analyse any television drama, book or play and you will be able to place each character around the triangle. The only peaceful place to be is ‘off’ this triangle.

Affirmation:

This tool probably needs the least explanation, and it is just as true to say that we all affirm, all of the time. The words we use are creating the life that we live, non-stop!

If you find yourself constantly repeating, “I don’t know,” then you are creating a life where you never quite know enough.

Used correctly it is both a tool of creation and a diagnostic. Repeating a statement that causes you to have an emotional feeling somewhere in your body, means that there is a voice contradicting what you are saying, for instance: “I am a beautiful person” might be affirming: “Who do you think you are?” This then needs to be tapped away. You can then go on to make your affirmation and create the right result.

This energy healing tool has been with us for 5000 years in one form or another. Most people have heard of acupuncture, a system of putting needles into the body’s energy meridians.

Tapping on those same meridian points causes the blockage to be moved, and energy to flow freely again. When the energy is moving freely the emotion that caused the blockage is changed, freeing the person to think differently about their pain or situation.

We have Albert Einstein, the 1920s genius, who discovered that everything, including the human body, is composed of energy, to thank for bringing these ideas to the attention of free thinking healers.

Tapping addresses the subtle body energies directly:

Decide how badly the pain or emotion is affecting you by using the 1 – 10 scale. 1 is not very and 10 is as bad as it gets.

Using index finger and middle finger to tap we make a statement such as: “Even though I have a pain in my head, I love and accept myself.” Which is repeated 3 times.

We then move through the other tapping points:

1. Top of the Head

3. Outer corner of eye

4. Under eye

5. Under nose

6. The cleft of the chin

7. Collar bone

8. 4 inches under the arm (Use the flat of your hand here to give maximum coverage)

Whilst repeating a reminder statement, such as:

“Pain in my head” and tapping about 5 – 7 times.

Decide now by using the 1 – 10 scale how bad the pain or emotion is now. If it’s all gone, then that is wonderful. If there is some remaining, tap another round, and do this until you are feeling better.

You can do this at home for yourself, but sometimes the input of a therapist is needed to clarify your thoughts and enable a quicker treatment by using some extra points or tapping on your body for you.

healing.jpgEnergy Healing:

Another emotional freedom tool that has been in use for millennia.

There probably hasn’t been a time in the history of the human race when it wasn’t noticed that certain people were very good at removing the pain from others. At first these people would have been known as Shaman’s or Priests of some kind. The churches still practice a form of ‘Laying on of Hands’.

It is the practice of allowing energy from the Universe or Source, perhaps Angels or God or whatever the belief system is, to pass through the healer into the body or aura of the client. Thus bringing about an energy shift. The energy addresses both pain and emotion, allowing healing to happen, the emphasis needs to be on the word ‘allows’, as a healer doesn’t heal anyone by themselves.

The most potent healers are those who know that the energy doesn’t come from them, and that they are acting as a conduit, needing to get out of the way so that perfect healing is enabled.

Everyone uses this tool whether they know it or not. It constantly builds their lives for them, exactly as they picture it. It is a loyal and faithful friend, and once trained will go on to produce wonders.

Visualizing is different from day dreaming, when you visualize, you touch, feel and smell the object of your desire. It sounds too easy, but if you really need a new car or house, then take time to see every detail, feel the joy that will come from owning that particular object, and rejoice that it is already yours. The energy of the Universe exists to provide you with all that you believe that you deserve. It doesn’t judge. If you see lack in your minds’ eye, lack is what you will get.

Learn to see exactly what you deserve, and of course, you deserve the best!

twigs.jpgDowsing:

This brings up pictures of people with twigs searching for water. This same process occurs when the healer allows the energy of another to enter their aura. You know, and your body knows, because your higher self has the knowledge of the Universe, and if you are open enough to listen to your higher self, then you too have that knowledge.

There are some people who are spiritually advanced enough to hear from their higher self directly. Others need to find a tool so that they can communicate with their higher self, and using a dowsing system is a good tool. You could use a pendulum, but this would be slow, so some healers, such as Gary Craig use a sweeping arm movement. If the arm travels a distance then the meridian is clear, if it stops mid way then more work needs to be done. I use my thumb and index finger joined into a circle and my other index finger through it to pull. I have my sign programmed, so that if the circle breaks, then more work needs to be done. If the circle stays strong, then all is well.

Distance is not a problem when using any type of healing or dowsing work, we are all connected in time and space, all that is needed is intent to heal, and an ability to concentrate.

mirror.jpgMirror Work:

Tool number 7 in our energy healing system.

When we look into our own eyes in a mirror the energy that we send out to the world is reflected back to us. We feel that energy, and sometimes the emotions that we feel because of it cause us intense pain. We know that we don’t love our self, we know that we are not strong and independent, we know that we are not calm and confident. Many tears are shed when affirmations are said whilst looking into your own eyes.

Mirror work is perhaps the most neglected aspect of energy healing, but one of the most important.

During this stage of the evolution of the human race, we can safely assume that we will always have need of a trained physician, and if any one of us needed the intervention of the surgeon, I hope that a surgeon will always be available. But Energy Healing is free for use immediately, and can be used in the first instance before other interventions. It can be used in conjunction with conventional medicine as no drugs are ever involved, or to aid in post operative healing, healing the trauma that other treatments, though necessary, have caused.

Carol, This is great information. I’ve used tapping on myself for years - some of it intuitive, some of it I learned from a professional. It is a great way to instantly move you out of fear based place into a relaxed calm state. I’m looking forward to more posts.
